As well as regular passenger flights, we have always had a yearning for adventure flying, which over the years has seen us achieve some of the longest, highest, fastest, and furthest flights to have taken place within the UK in recent years.

These flights have extended our knowledge and range of experience, testing pilots and equipment to the limit. Flying in the UK and abroad, from the Black Mountains and the Swiss Alps, to the frozen wastes of Arctic Norway, Finland and Russia, we've been there and come back to tell the tale!

Flying High

Altitude attempts of recent years have been achieved using pressurised capsules and high tech aids. We wanted to experience high altitude balloon flight in an open basket, and what an experience it turned out to be! Equipped with oxygen sets and polar clothing, it took us two hours to complete the flight and return to earth, during which time we climbed to over 31,000ft and travelled 50 miles, with temperatures as low as -49°c !
